Wooden House JMJ

On 22. Februar 2017 by Daniel Grünkranz

The design of the house is conceived as a metamorphosis of traditional forms which comply with local building regulations. The result of this process becomes especially appreciable in the interior of the home. The otherwise typical spatial division of ground and upper floor is overcome by an airy living room establishing a spatial connection across the two floors. In this way, the stairs in the front of the loft are not only a connecting element, but evolve furthermore into a multifunctional furniture. The support structure and the façade of the house are constructed with wood materials.
